Lasciatemi interrompere per una volta l'ordine FIFO (first in first out) di pubblicazione dei suggerimenti, anche perché questa canzone suggerita da Federica l'ho scoperta grazie ad un suo post e mi sono letteralmente innamorata dell'interpretazione di Adele, grandiosa, mi ha lasciata senza parole. Spero che piaccia anche a voi.

Per quanto riguarda la canzone in sé qui trovate qualche informazione in più.
Il passaggio saliente è questo:
"I can imagine being about 40 and looking for him again, only to turn up and find that he's settled with a beautiful wife and beautiful kids and he's completely happy... and I'm still on my own. The song's about that and I'm scared at the thought of that."

Hiding my heart - Brandi Carlile

Sopportatemi e vogliatemi bene :D Ogni tanto vi infilerò Brandi Carlile e vi ricorderò del mio Progetto/Esperimento finché non avrò qualche risultato :P

La canzone in questione affronta una tematica, intuibile dal titolo, comune a tutti noi. Penso che ci sia poco da dire a riguardo senza correre il rischio di scadere nei luoghi comuni quindi vi lascio alla storia raccontata dalla canzone.

Ultima cosa prima di lasciarvi, un'artista che a me piace molto ne ha fatto la cover, parlo di Adele, questo fa sì che non vi dovrete subire la mia di traduzione in italiano ma una fatta per bene.
Devo dirvelo, di solito quando sento la cover di una canzone che mi piace tendo a non apprezzarla, preferisco quasi sempre l'originale, ma in questo caso non ho assolutamente nulla da ridire ad Adele (e ci mancherebbe!), mi piacciono entrambe le versioni :)
